About CantoMap 關於粵地圖

CantoMap is made by a Coquitlam homeschooling family raising bilingual kids. We know how hard it can be to find a Cantonese class that fits your child's age, your schedule and your part of town, so we gathered them in one place.

We check every listing by hand against the program's own page, and each listing shows the date we last checked it. Where a program uses its own Chinese name, we show it. Some programs only publish details in English, so a few Chinese pages show English text for those parts.

CantoMap is free for families. We don't take bookings or payments, so you book directly with the program. Prices and times change, so check with them before you go. Spot something out of date? Use "Let us know" on the listing, or the add a program form.

FAQ 常見問題

Who is CantoMap for?

Families in Metro Vancouver who want their kids to learn or keep up Cantonese: local Cantonese-speaking and heritage families, and families who've recently arrived from Hong Kong and may prefer reading Chinese.

Why don't some programs show up when I filter by age?

Most programs post a clear range like "3-6" or "K - Grade 9", and those work with the age filter. A few, like some Saturday schools, only say "school-age". You'll still find them by city or type, and it's worth asking the school which level suits your child.

How do I update a listing?

Open the listing and choose "Let us know", or send a note on the add a program form. Tell us which program it is and what's changed. We check every update before it goes on the map.
