For kindergarten and up, Richmond has five Cantonese school options on our map. True Light Chinese School on Blundell Road teaches traditional characters, with classes after school Tuesday to Friday and on Saturdays ($310 per half year). Pui Ying Richmond Chinese School runs on Saturdays, also with traditional characters ($320 per 15 weeks, or $350 with Mandarin conversation). Familogue's literacy class for K to Grade 3 runs on weekday afternoons on Cambie Road (from $356 a term). Richmond Continuing Education (SD38) runs a Saturday Cantonese speaking class for ages 6–12 and a hybrid Cantonese read-and-write class.
